What is Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
Irritable bowel syndrome or IBS is actually imbalance among the colon, pelvis and sphincter. Let’s look at the point: After eating a meal, our stomach becomes extended and begins to release different gastrointestinal hormones. In turn, the nerves of the colon get activated, leading to stimulation of the muscles of the colon walls. This process is called as a gastro colic reflex in the language of medicine.
